Well equipped for the world market: The newly developed ORBIT series sets benchmarks particularly in the segment of small to medium-sized flat and profile grinding machines. Its compact cross-slide design is based on the proven BLOHM modular system. Optimal grinding patterns are achieved thanks to the outstanding damping characteristics of the hydrodynamic guideways in the table axis. As with all BLOHM machines, the FEM-optimised design of all major components in grey cast iron guarantees outstanding thermal and vibration engineering characteristics on the ORBIT.
